This reading was hard for me but here goes somewhat of a rant on it. Art is art. Everyone is different which basically means that everyone will react differently from a piece of art. There should not be standards for what is good art and what is bad art. The word art and the definition of it is also over analyzed.
Nussbuam
This writing was about how literature can enrich your life. I agree with her although I am not that big of a reader. Literature can expose you to things you would not normally be exposed to in life which thus makes you more open minded.
Fegin
Fegin wrote about how we can learn from art. It is basically the same concept as learning form literature. Although you are not experiencing the thing firsthand, you are experiencing it which helps expose you to it or open your mind. Art also will cause you to think more and possibly use your imagination.
