Kasher
In this writing, Steven Kasher discusses how Hitler was an artist between the ages of 19 to 25. He attended art school but was kicked out for copying paintings he saw on postcards. Hitler was not very good at drawing people and put little effort into it. This could possibly be a sign for what he had in store in the future. His failure in art may also be why he would also targeted artists upon invasion. Personally, even if Hitler was very talented at art, I don't think I could get myself to appreciate it. Although, I am very open minded and will look past nearly anything, I dont think I can with Hitler. I am pretty sure everyone else feels the same way.

Levi
Levi examines how art was used for propaganda by the Nazis. He talks about an art exhibit in Munich that displayed "degenerate art". Most of the art on display was propaganda art. The degenerate art was viewed as a retaliation against in exhibit that was held earlier in the year called "Great German Art".

Goggin
This article talks about how the Nazi's were controlling art as a form of propaganda. You had to have the governments approval to even create art. I personally don't agree with the ideas of the government controlling art. If you find it offensive, then don't look at it. No one is forcing you to look at every piece of art. There are exceptions to this though like child pornography but can that really be considered art?
